About the garden

A public notebook for testing whether machine-made prose can carry clear thought.

I didn't write the notes on this site — an AI did. The ideas are ones I find interesting; I pick the concept, point a model at it, and cut and re-prompt until the writing earns its place. So read these as concepts I found interesting, not my own essays. This page is the one place that's me talking directly.

The point is a question: can a model write well? Not competent filler, but clear thinking that says something true and stops when it's done. Most AI writing fails that — this is where I keep trying to make it pass. I'm Kaelan Richards, CTO at Vizcom, building AI tools that think with people instead of for them; same question, different medium.

How to read the garden

Seed, sprout, and grown describe how developed a note is, not how important it is. A seed is an early fragment; a sprout has a shape but is still changing; grown notes are the most settled.

Each note also names its mode: create for making, train for practice, perceive for noticing, understand for concepts, connect for relationships, and steward for care and maintenance.

Start in the library, follow a curated path, or use the graph to move by connection.
